Fashion Victims are doing great and the long awaited record should
be available soon, but we don't have any shows lined up at the
moment. Instead, I offer you... SOMETHING
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT:
Me and some of the guys at my work
have started rehearsing for our annual appearance in the Forked
River Parade of Lights (NJ). The parade involves 40 or so local
boaters using lights, props, and costumes to decorate their boats
with various themes. Spectators gather on the shore and cheer as the
parade travels from Barnegat Bay, up the Forked River, and back out
again. The crowd size is usually around 15,000 people. Every
year we build a stage (with stage lighting) on the bow of a 36 foot
Chris Craft, load drums, amps, and a 3,000 watt PA onto our 7'x12'
stage, and defy god and nature by busting out cover tunes from the
60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's while STANDING ON A MOVING BOAT! Of all
the shows I play each year, this one is unrivaled as the "most
dangerous!" The parade will be held on Saturday, August
7th at dusk. Finding a spot anywhere along the main branch of the
Forked River will give you a view - two of the more popular spots
are the restaurants Captain's Inn and Southwinds Grille. Our boat is
easy to spot...it's the one with the band standing on it! Will
this be the year that one of us finally takes a header into the
drink? Only one way to find out...see
you there! SITE

MODIFIED NEWS
FLASH:
I was on the radio in Wayne, New Jersey (near "The Fountains")
with Cary Miller, one of my band-mates in Fashion Victims on William
Patterson College Radio WPAC 88.7 on May 7 at 4:30. It was a blast! Cary and
I played a few FV tunes and talked at great length at some points about
the record that's almost "in the can" (industry term for done).
Finally, don't
forget about Arlenes Grocery June 5th in NYC. We had fun last time and we'll
have fun again. See you there.

Huge thanks to everybody that came out and saw Fashion Victims April 16th in
Asbury at the Pony...hope you had a blast! Also thanks to Bret Michaels for
canceling his show that night because our back stage hangout room was totally
awesome. There was beer, beer, and some other beer as well. We took full
advantage of most of it so as not to waste the fine brews!
